My son Shakur has started training with Samir at the ripe age of 3 and half years old, and the benefits of working with Samir were immediate. Under Samir’s tutelage, my son continues to develop as a soccer player both technically and mentally. Samir has a wealth of knowledge, a passion for soccer and an energetic positive coaching style that works well with young soccer players. My son is a smarter player and has more confidence under pressure on the field because of Samir's careful guidance. Samir’s Soccer coaching philosophy has equipped my son with the ability to read the game quickly, determine his options before receiving the ball and make better choices as to dribbling or making a one-touch pass to get out of trouble. Also, my son’s decisions to make runs off the ball at the right time have improved greatly. Samir is a fantastic coach who connects with his athletes and shares his passion for the game with his athletes through high level drills, scrimmages, humor and most importantly RESPECT.

My son is 6 years old now and is developing into a fantastic well-rounded player who is completely aware of his surroundings on the field. I honestly feel Samir’s training directly contributed to helping him becoming a confident player on and off the ball. While I have witnessed a tremendous improvement with my own son, I have also witnessed first-hand the improvement of many of the kids that are part of Samir’s academy. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see some of these kids from Samir’s academy playing on the Canadian national in the future. All Star Soccer academy is a place where our kids feel like a part of a big family.

The atmosphere is healthy, it is a great group of people, from friendly employees to parents that say hello to each other and hang out together.

As an ex professional player, I can tell that the technical knowledge of coach Samir is at a very high level. Many coaches have a theoretical knowledge, but he teaches kids practical things that actually work in real situations.

Coach Samir is a very charismatic person, he is clearly in this because of his love for the game. He likes to win, kids can feel that, so they give their maximum while they enjoy.

He will point good things as well as things that need to be improved, soccer related or related to life in general.

A Hockey Family / Friends of ours told us about the All Star Soccer Academy and how welcoming, open, friendly, kind, professional and great the program was for them. Including all the top level accreditations and certifications Coach Samir has obtained over many years. My son was a little nervous to go the first night but after 5 minutes in the door at the Oz Dome with Coach Samir, Azra, Shayla, Sarah and Harris plus the other coaches and he was sold! You will not find a kinder family / coaches / group of people around. The caliber of practices, skill sessions, mini games, coaching is the best in the city WITHOUT QUESTION! Being a competitive hockey coach for many years I have to say, the determination, professionalism, genuine caring for EVERY single player, it truly a sight to be seen and I have become a better coach personally from witnessing Coach Samir and his team coach these kids. My player never played organized soccer prior to January of 2023 and he is now addicted to the ASSA practices, people & skill sessions also participating in the Elite Team after 2 short weeks of coaching.
Coach Samir and the team are simply amazing and you will not regret signing up! I sure don't.

Our son has been part of All Stars Soccer Academy since March of 2024 and I can't stress enough how happy we are with the decision we took to enroll him! We feel apart of a big family, where the Coaches and Parents care a great deal for the children.

Coach Samir and the entire staff are very kind and very hard working. The feedback your child receives is honest, personalized, and accurate.

The emphasis on conditioning is unmatched, the skill development and understanding of the game is very noticeable, and the camaraderie and enthusiasm is amazing. You will get a ton of bang for your buck here and you will notice major improvements and real development in your child so long as he/she listens to the Coaches and gives his/her all.

As a lifetime soccer fan myself, I always wanted my son to have great soccer experience and receive the best coaching possible. All Stars Soccer Academy is exactly what I wanted. I know that there are plenty of reviews here saying great things about them. I just want to pick a couple from the things they do that resonate with me the most.
1. Coaches would start each session with questions and rules emphasizing on effort, attitude and sportsmanship. It's clear that they are not only coaching only for soccer results, but also for making complete athletes.
2. Much emphasis on fitness, soccer skills and soccer IQ.
3. Cultivating leadership whenever proper. Encouraging players to lead by example.
4. Promote player confidence, which personally my son benefits the most from. They encourage player to take on the opponent 1 on 1 when time suits and stick to the end. I like it!
5. Every coach here has great amount of passion about soccer, coaching, making good players as well as people.. You can probably tell this within 5 mins observing from the side of the field.
6. Their approach is consistent across the entire coaching team. So when players go from one age group to another, there is continuity in coaching philosophy. In my opinion, this is key to long time team success.

My son made good friends here and enjoyed every min of it. He talks about Coach Samir and Coach Haris every now and then... Kids know better.
